We're very excited to announce GitHub Discussions: A place for the Gatsby community to ask questions, submit ideas and give feedback on new features (RFC). Discussions will help us better differentiate questions, features and other non-bug tickets from actual issues...and also easier for all of you to help us squash bugs and make Gatsby even better!

Starting today there is a single source of truth for all things Gatsby. The new Gatsbyjs.com brings together the open source Gatsby (.org) and the Gatsby, Inc. (.com) sites in a unified domain so all Gatsby users are set up for success with the same resource. Unified Gatsby is a big step toward our goal of making Gatsby 1000x easier to use -- our guiding vision for the future of Open Source and Gatsby Cloud. We want to share this vision with our community, so today we are also offering a preview roadmap of the functions and features we'll be releasing in the next few months. We are also excited to announce a brand new right-fit pricing plan (including permanent free tier) for Gatsby Cloud to make sure every user has access to the ideal platform for building, deploying and collaborating on Gatsby sites.

With all the momentous events of recent weeks, we decided -- after a lot of discussion and thought -- to reconfigure this month’s planned Gatsby Days. Now is not the right time to take attention and space away from the Black Lives Matter movement. Transforming Gatsby Days from a live event into a video and blog content series allows us to share all the amazing speakers and learning opportunities of the live event in a way that the community can access as the time is right for each of us. Today’s post is the first in the series, presenting all the product and program announcements that we had planned for the original online event.
This is a pivotal time for the fight against systemic racism and injustice in the US. It has also sparked a lot of difficult reflection and realizations from those of us who would be allies: the understanding that we all own a piece of this. That we can, and we must, do better. At Gatsby we have been asking ourselves some hard questions about how we need to change so we can become better allies.
